2023 Upcoming GMC Models

Published On

For GMC, the 2023 model year is a quiet one.

Nevertheless, a brand-new Canyon midsize pickup makes its premiere, and the full-size Yukon and Yukon XL SUVs get a new top-of-the-line trim level. The complete list of modifications to each 2023 GMC truck and SUV model is provided below.

2023 GMC Acadia

  • Starting MSRP: $36,800
  • No significant changes are made to the midsize Acadia crossover SUV with three rows and seating for seven passengers for 2023.

The Volcanic Red Tintcoat, Ultra Blue Metallic, and Sterling Metallic are three new extra-cost paint colors that are available. A leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls is included on the SLT level and above.

    2023 GMC Canyon

  • Starting MSRP: $36,600
  • For the 2023 model year, GMC introduces an entirely new, third-generation Canyon midsize pickup truck that is bigger and taller than the outgoing model. All models receive updated styling, new technology, and more safety features, as well as the introduction of a new AT4X off-road performance trim level.

GMC improves the exterior look of the Canyon to more closely resemble the full-size Sierra 1500 as part of the design modifications. Additionally, GMC fully updates the Canyon's interior. Every 2023 Canyon trim level has a different inside design motif.

    2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup

  • Starting MSRP: $108,700
  • In 2023, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup will be back. However, as we were getting ready to publish this piece, there needed to be more information available regarding the modifications to GMC's all-electric truck. There won't likely be many changes for 2023 because it debuted for the 2022 model year. You can learn more about the upcoming 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV, which is scheduled to debut in early 2023.

    2023 GMC Sierra 1500

  • Starting MSRP: $42,800
  • With more upgrades for 2023, GMC follows up its complete overhaul of the 2022 Sierra 1500. GMC claims that the Sierra's off-road capabilities have never been higher thanks to the new AT4X AEV Edition. To improve the truck's off-road capability and aesthetic appeal, the new AT4X AEV has undergone a number of structural and aesthetic modifications.

Other Sierra 1500 news includes a new 3.0 liter Duramax turbodiesel engine that, according to GMC, produces 10% more horsepower and 7.6% more torque than the model year prior. Additionally, the Pro trim now offers the Graphite Edition package, and the Denali Ultimate trim gets new 22-inch 7-spoke ultra-bright machined wheels. Additionally, Deep Bronze Metallic, Volcanic Red Tintcoat, and Sterling Metallic are three new extra-cost paint colors that are available.

2023 GMC Sierra 2500/3500 Heavy Duty

  • Starting MSRP: $45,600
  • For 2023, there won't be any changes to the large GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD. But do not worry. Since a whole new model of the GMC heavy-duty vehicle emerged for the 2020 model year, not much has changed with the Sierra HD.

Given that the devoted truck brand is getting ready to introduce an all new 2024 GMC Sierra HD, the absence of revisions is acceptable.

    2023 GMC Terrain

  • Starting MSRP: $28,400
  • The GMC Terrain has undergone a considerable update for the 2022 model year, but not much has changed for 2023. Mechanically, the regular 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine's output rises to 175 and the brakes get electronic power aid. A new Denali Black Diamond Edition is now available, and the Elevation Edition now has 19-inch gloss black wheels with a fresh look.

Last but not least, Deep Bronze Metallic, Sterling Metallic, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat are three new additional paint hues that are added to the pallet (Denali only).

    2023 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL

  • Starting MSRP: $57,400
  • If you believed the Denali to be the pinnacle of the Yukon, think again. Now, the Denali Ultimate is the rightful owner of that distinction. The large Yukon SUV now has luxurious inside finishes, additional standard technology, and eye-catching design thanks to the new range-topping grade.

It comes with a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine or a 6.2-liter gas V8 engine, and 4-wheel drive is standard. Super Cruise hands-free technology will also be offered for the new Yukon Denali Ultimate.
