The Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk models receive most of the 2023 Renegade's changes, although the entire lineup gains a new exterior color that is an option: Detonator Yellow. Furthermore, the Sport base trim is no longer available. The base model is now the Renegade Latitude, and it comes with a new set of optional Premium equipment. The Cherokee appears to be a carryover until 2023, but after then, things get a little hazy. According to Jeep's parent company Stellantis, the Belvidere, Illinois, factory that makes the small SUV will stop production permanently at the end of February 2023 due in part to persisting supply chain problems and in part to weak sales. But the business has also made a prior commitment to the following generation. Closer to the end of 2024, we might see a new Cherokee, and we should anticipate some form of electrification in it.
The exterior color scheme is revised for the normal and 4xe plug-in hybrid models, and a Wrangler sticker with an American flag is placed on each front fender. The two new colors are Earl, a light off-gray that takes the place of Snazzberry, and Reign, a limited-edition shade of purple in Jeep lingo. The 2023 Gladiator and gas-powered 2023 Wrangler both receive new Freedom editions. With its steel front bumper, rock rails, and military-inspired design, this model boasts enhanced capability. Finally, new standard and optional 17-inch wheel styles are added to the Wrangler Rubicon.
The Gladiator truck receives a Freedom special edition for 2023, similar to the Wrangler with which it shares a base. Steel rock rails, standard LED headlights and foglights, and front and rear bumpers that can accommodate a winch are some of its other capabilities. Body-colored fender flares, black wheels and accents, and an Oscar Mike insignia (a tribute to the brand's military past) on the rear tailgate are other exterior aesthetic highlights. It has leather-trimmed fabric seats inside, and the accent stitching is black.

The Grand Wagoneer L long-wheelbase variant, which offers the same extra foot of length as the Wagoneer, is a new addition to the family.
