Upcoming 2023 Kia Models

Although the Sorento and three-row Telluride are excellent choices in the Kia SUV inventory, the automaker is aware that certain customers choose not to drive a high-riding crossover. With models ranging from the tiny Rio to the eight-seat Carnival minivan, Kia has one of the broadest automotive lineups available today for them.

Discover what modifications have been made to the Kia car portfolio for the 2023 model year by reading on.

2023 Kia Rio

  • MSRP Range: $16,550 - $17,190
  • Pros.
    Cons.
    Low initial cost. Unreliable engine
A good ride for the part. Unclear direction.

Installing an oil level sensor to the engine is the only alteration to the 2023 Kia Rio sedan and hatchback for the new model year. With an introductory price that starts at $20,000, it continues to be one of the least expensive new automobiles available.

    2023 Kia Forte

  • MSRP Range: $19,690 - $25,090
  • Pros.
    Cons.
Unstrung safety technology suite. CVT is not refined enough.
    Intuitive, responsive touchscreen. Rigid suspension.

The Kia Forte has had a facelift for the 2022 model year. The tiny sedan will remain in production through 2023 with minimal alterations. For the top-of-the-line GT model, Kia removed the GT Technology package and increased the number of standard safety features.

    2023 Kia K5

  • MSRP Range: $25,290 - $31,690
  • Pros.
    Cons.
Exterior architecture conveys a message. K5 GT lacks AWD.
The engine of the GT model. Interior components that feel cheap.

The Kia K5, which is a competitor in the midsize sedan market, is back for 2023 with changes to its trim hierarchy. The base model for the 2022 K5 was the LX trim level, which Kia no longer offers. The K5 LXS is the new base trim and no longer comes with all-wheel drive like it did in the past.

    2023 Kia Carnival

  • MSRP Range: $33,100 - $46,200
  • Pros.
    Cons.
    Attractive exterior architecture. Nothing hybrid.
A smooth ride. The reliance on capacitive touch buttons is excessive.

In order to refresh the 2023 Carnival minivan, Kia equipped the SX trim level with two 12.3-inch displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. Along with the improvement, Kia's Blind-Spot Monitor View technology will be available. There is also an optional dual-screen rear entertainment system with media streaming. Eight passengers can be accommodated in the top-tier SX-Prestige model thanks to the second row's Slide-Flex seating arrangement from Kia.

    2023 Kia Stinger

  • MSRP Range: $36,590 - $53,990
  • Pros.
    Cons.
A huge informational screen. Twin-turbo V-6 is thirsty.
A real sports car. An expensive Kia.

The Kia Stinger continues until 2023 largely unchanged before going out of production. There are now only two trim options available from Kia: GT-Line and GT2. There are, however, a few special versions available, such as the Grand Tourer with its black bodywork and red interior trim, and the Apex with its Brembo brakes and simulated carbon fiber inside decor.
