Ram's broad-shouldered pickup trucks and ProMaster cargo van undergo little alteration for the 2023 model year, remaining largely unchanged. The trucks get several new special editions, while the ProMaster gets some additional options, a slightly updated front end, and a higher roof. The work-oriented cars are otherwise virtually unchanged from the previous year.
The full-size Ram 1500 pickup now comes in two brand-new special models. The Limited Elite Edition is the first and comes with a cargo box packed with practical features including a lockable tailgate, cargo divider, adjustable tie-down hooks, and a retractable bed step, in addition to various aesthetic improvements. Additionally, a TRX Sandblast Edition enhances the TRX Level 2 Equipment Group with Mojave Sand paint and graphics, unique wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and interior style accents.
A new 12-inch digital dashboard is now available for the Ram 1500. Other modifications to 1500 are minor, and the 2019 model's lineup of four engines—from the standard 3.6-liter V6 to the supercharged, 702-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 of the TRX—remains unchanged. The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel model will no longer be produced starting with the 2023 model year.

The Ram 2500, based on the Ram 1500 Rebel, has additional suspension and tire reinforcement, skid plates, a 12,000-pound Warn winch available, and exterior aesthetic cues.
Besides that, there won't be many changes to Ram's heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 pickup trucks in 2023. One of them is a brand-new digital dashboard. A rearview camera mirror is an additional one. Ram offers telescopic trailer tow mirrors as an option and upgrades to the truck's camera system to further boost visibility. Backing up with a trailer is made easier with the optional Trailer Reverse Steering Control function.

Ram updates its ProMaster cargo van for 2023 with new headlights, a new front fascia, and more aesthetic customization possibilities. The emblems, grilles, and wheels are all darkened by the Black Appearance package. There is now a super high configuration option for the 13-foot ProMaster if the low and high roof heights don't quite suit your freight needs.
A new park-assist option is now available to make it easier to maneuver this cargo van into parallel or perpendicular parking spaces. There are 1500, 2500, and 3500 model options for the ProMaster, as well as short, normal, and long wheelbase options (with increasing payload ratings). Short, tall, and supertall roof heights are all readily available. All 2023 Ram ProMaster vans are powered by a 276-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine.
