PROS | CONS | VERDICT |
Corsair is fuel-efficient and provides an all-electric driving range of 28 miles. It has many luxury options available. The seats are extremely comfortable and highly customizable, including the option for a massaging function. | The PHEV is only available as the Grand Touring trim at- $51,595. The styling looks dated and it never looked as good as its competitors. | If you don't mind the slightly dated looks, this would be an excellent crossover. The interiors are flooded with leather, textures, and technology as far as the eye can see. The AWD gives it flexibility and the confidence to take on slippery terrain. |

Which one do we recommend?
Since the PHEV is available in only the Grand Touring trim, we have to recommend the same. We also like the cashew-themed interior, the Co-Pilot 360 1.5 plus ($2,500), and the $3,900 Elements Technology Bundle, which includes a lot of equipment.
What about its availability?
The Corsair is available at all local car dealerships near you.
What about its performance and handling?
The adaptive suspension works well in balancing comfort and sportiness but that's where the agility factor ends. The Corsair was designed with comfort and luxury as the primary motive and hence it’s not designed to take on tracks and fast corners. However it will ensure that you reach the track with the utmost comfort while towing your light weight track weapon with its 2000 lbs towing capacity. The AWD system with its Brake Actuated Limited Slip Differential ensures that your weekend vacation is not limited to paved roads.
How’s the interior?
Seating | Headroom, Front/Rear | Legroom, Front/Rear | Cargo volume |
5 | 39.5 / 38.7 inches | 43.2 / 38.6 inches | 27.6 (57.6 with second-row seats folded) cubic feet |
The Lincoln's interior is adorned with leather, silver trim inserts, gloss black panels, and soft-touch materials. The climate control has physical buttons as well as a small display to show the temperature. The fit and finish are excellent, and the materials are of high quality.
LIKES:
- Rear seats can be moved forward or backward
- Lot of storage space in the center console
- The Cashew interior theme looks very premium
DISLIKES:
- The interior design could look dated to some younger buyers
Quick Quirk: Instead of a traditional gear lever or buttons, Lincoln has cleverly relocated the gear selector directly beneath the central AC vents and fitted it in the form of piano-style keys, freeing up storage and providing a distinctive look.
Infotainment and connectivity
The Corsair Grand Touring gets an 8-inch center LCD display and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster for the driver. The digital display offers great visuals for each drive mode. Corsair also comes with a 10 speaker superior sound system with a subwoofer, but you can upgrade to a 14 speaker Revel Audio system with a subwoofer by purchasing the $2,430 Luxury Package, which also includes a Heads Up Display.
LIKES:
- WiFi hotspot
- SYNC 3 Applink with Apple CarPlay
- Voice assist
- Standard 4 USB ports with two additional USB ports with the $3,900 Elements Technology Bundle
- Android Auto
DISLIKES:
- The 8-inch display looks dated
- Navigation is not standard
How about the technology and features?
The Corsair Grand Touring gets a whole lot of features such as Speed-dependent adaptive lights, interior ambient lighting and 24-way adjustable seats (with the $3,900 Elements Technology Pack) and a Panoramic Sunroof.
LIKES:
- Standard 10 way powered and heated front seats
- Optional heated rear seats
- Wireless charging pad (Elements Technology Bundle)
- Navigation system is voice-activated
DISLIKES
- 360-degree camera is not standard
- Co-Pilot 360 ADAS systems are not standard
How’s the exterior?
When compared to the competition, the front end design appears obsolete, but the rear fascia remains quite current and is one of the best looking rear fascias in this segment. The chrome inserts on the window line and the chrome grille give this crossover an exquisite appearance, while the sporty 19-inch wheels and sloping roofline emphasize the crossover's athletic spirit. The crossover's powerful body lines and larger bottom region give it a muscular appearance.
All in all, it's a good-looking crossover but it could do with a front fascia update since those headlights look quite dated.
